National Grid settles with Wipro; IBM and Bridgestone just walk away

Last week, the Northeast U.S. utility company National Grid and Indian IT vendor Wipro announced a resolution of the lawsuit the former filed late last year against Wipro for what it alleged was a botched ERP system development for its U.S. Foundation Program (USFP) in 2012. Wipro, which had originally stated it would contest the lawsuit and called the allegations “baseless,” agreed to pay National Grid $75 million to settle the case.
