Assembly orientation of inductor in switching regulators matters. Note inductor orientation and its repeatability when measuring emissions- be aware of differences regarding chosen inductor, test in both directions and communicate to board production possible assembly pitfalls if orientation cannot be determined. Improvement could be a simple 180° inductor rotation away.
